Our recycling program

Currently, we are raising money by collecting cans & bottles and recycling them at centers that pay redemption values.  To date, we have set up two collection bins, and the money collected is distributed to charities that fit the mission of George’s Pack.

How you can help

You can also recycle for George’s Pack.  You can simply set aside your own cans and bottles, recycle them, and donate the money to George’s Pack.  Every little bit helps!  Also, you can obtain the permission of your landlord, HOA, or place of business to set up your own recycling bin for George’s Pack in a common garage or workspace to contribute on a larger scale. 

Once you finish recycling, donate the money via the George’s Pack website.  The idea is that if we can get a lot of people donating small amounts of money, it adds up. Not only that, it is also a very green way to donate!  The best part is that 100% of the money raised through our Recycling Program will be distributed to charities that fit the mission of George’s Pack—supporting children and animals without permanent homes.  George’s Pack now supports children and animals in both the Los Angeles and Sacramento areas.
